Thanks to Moisson Montréal, we have been offering a weekly food distribution service since the spring of 2004. Our food bank functions mostly with the help of volunteers. It is situated in Parc-Extension, at Chalet Ogilvy (821 Ogilvy Avenue) this building is owned by the City. Food is distributed to marginalised and lower income individuals and families of all origins and ages on a weekly basis, every Tuesday morning. Beneficiaries must be registered to receive food. Many of our referrals come from the CLSCs. A very small fee is paid for membership ($5.00 Annually) and every time food is received (between $2.00 and $4.00). (Note: fees are subject to change from year to year).
