Fluent in Greek, English and French. Born in Montreal, raised and worked in Athens, Greece, in a variety of industries (both in public and private organisations), returned to Canada in 2012 and works as a Community Intervention Counselor, for the HSSQ since 2013.
Her recent return to Canada and academic experience enable her to effectively help and understand people of different origins who are dealing with the challenges of immigration, emotions, dreams and needs. Mother of one, optimistic and interested in enriching her career, she manages to balance her career and life responsibilities and often squeezes in time to take a course or two in gerontology studies. Currently she is following a Certified Training programme in “Counselling, Life Coaching and Mentoring” at the University of the Aegean. Mary loves to travel and enjoy life, “I always believed that it’s nice to surround myself with people who seem to make life as beautiful as it is, so I try to stay positive, enjoy every moment with people I love and always look at the bright side of life!” She is also a Commissioner of Oath for Quebec, for the Minister of Justice (#212989 valid until 2018).
